There are two variants of Smart Storage available for use in inventory management kind of application. One is a Smart Shelf, a microcontroller based unit with built-in sensor modules and wireless connectivity. This is specifically designed for use in manufacturing kind of applications with storage spaces designed for standard bins. The other variant is a Standalone box, which has similar features, but can be considered for retrofitting and allows conversion of existing storage systems to enable inventory tracking and management.
Both variants are configurable with several features that allow customized deployment for desired RPL, Alerts, profile based access, etc. The data from the storage units is uploaded to cloud at regular intervals that can be accessed from anywhere in real time. A custom application can be developed for implementation of the inventory management solution.
